Who are we?
We are a family-run self-storage site located in Crescent Industrial Estate, Southampton. Our containerised self-storage site is situated just 5 minutes away from the M27, 10 minutes drive from the city centre, or Totton to the West and Romsey to the North. We have a big selection of self-storage container sizes to choose from, starting from 15 sq. ft to 160 sq. ft.
Woodpecker’s container site
Woodpecker’s self-storage container site is built from the ground up, with the help of our sister company Willbox. We installed new self-storage-grade units, which are converted container toppers and multi-door units. We have also installed 14 vents for effective air circulation. Willbox’s team planned and fabricated all of our self-storage containers, the WC, shower facilities, and the Woodpecker office. Because we want our customer’s belongings to be in good hands, we have installed the latest fully monitored CCTV with motion sensors, infrared night vision cameras, automatic plate recognition, and a tannoy system from BearBox.
Your self-storage unit in Southampton will be easy to access, but only for you. We wanted your experience to be stress-free but at the same time secure. For that reason, we have installed security-coded gates with personalised PINs.
We have provided on-site WC and showers, and plenty of space so you can enter Woodpecker freely with your car to load and unload your belongings directly outside your storage unit. For more information, you can read through Woodpecker's unique backstory.
Fully digital
We are the most sustainable self-storage site near you and for that reason, you won’t be given a paper document. All our contracts, bookings and payments are fully digital. We are committed to measuring and improving our environmental impact, and have set up an environmental management system that establishes a ‘green’ culture across the business.
